“I am interested in small things. I often use a macro lens and a very tiny studio. The series under the menu option “People” attempts to capture my life long fascination with tiny human figures. The figures are at once realistic and abstract. They are serious and absurd. They are us.”

Julie Caples is an artist living near Chicago, Illinois. She began making visual art at an early age, but only began making photographs when she received a camera for Christmas in 2013.
